Dublin Zoo

Dublin Zoo is one of the most popular visitor attractions in Ireland.  The 28 hectare park is located in Phoenix Park in the heart of Dublin and it is home to some 400 animals. 

Daily events, feeds and talks eg elephant encounters and sealion splash are worthwhile doing if you get your timing right.  There are also regular kids and teen camps during the school holidays, birthday parties, parent and toddler mornings, birdwatching sessions, restaurants and cafes. 

From Saturday 30^th November, every weekend kids can visit Santa’s Grotto or take part in some festive arts and craft activities.  There is also a new family attraction, the children’s sheltered Play Forest.
