Welcome Santa Parade in Dundrum

I was hoping to put off blogging anything about Christmas until at least the end of November, but once the night draws a veil over the spooky fest of Halloween on the 31st October, is seems November 1st beckons the arrival of Christmas ads of the tv, decorations in the shops and ads for Christmas parties on the radio.

Well, let's face it Christmas is one of the most special times of the year for most people so bring it on!!

And, the big annual Parade to welcome Santa to Dundrum Town Centre is happening tomorrow so I thought I had better put something up on it , in case any of you are in the area and want to take a snoop.

The festivities kick off at 5.30pm on Town Square where Corus Choir will sing Christmas Carols.  Santa will begin his parade from the LUAS stop on Main Street Dundrum at 6pm, where you can see his sleigh,  the Tallaght Youth Band and fun characters.  The parade will make its way up to the Town Square where Miss Ali and her stage school, the Corus Choir and Angel and her band will provide more entertainment. Then there is the countdown to the big switch when Santa turns on the Dundrum Christmas lights.

So Christmas is well and truly here!!  I know there are loads of other places Santa will be visiting so I will get working on a list of these for another post.
