Rockclimbing

If you have a kid that has shown some interest in rockclimbing, there are a few indoor climbing walls around Dublin that they might find inspiration at.

Most indoor climbing centres cater for kids and run kids clubs, taster lessons, kids courses, camps during the holidays and birthday parties.

Indoor climbing centres which cater for kids in Dublin include - Awesome Walls in Finglas (see below).  




There is also the Gravity Climbing Centre in Inchichore (see below).



The UCD Sports Centre in Clonskeagh (see below).



Tayto Park also has a rockclimbing attraction (see below).  



If you have a really keen kid, he/she might be interested in Mountaineering Ireland’s Youth Climbing Series, which is a series of fun climbing competitions specifically for young people with the emphasis on enjoyment. It attracts hundreds of entrants across the UK and Ireland
