Back To School, How Bright Are You?

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council in conjunction with the RSA , Dublin Fire Brigade, An Garda Síochana and the HSE Ambulance Service is holding an open day in Dun Laoghaire Fire Station, Kill Avenue, to raise awareness of road safety for pedestrians and cyclists on Thursday 16th January 2.30pm to 4pm. The event will see free give-aways to children including Hi Visibility Vests, Goodies and Bike Safety Lights.

This event is aimed specifically at local school children and is designed to increase road user safety awareness post Christmas and into the New Year.

Children will be shown around emergency service response vehicles by members of Dublin Fire Brigade, An Garda Síochana and the HSE Ambulance Service and given safety information on the day.

This is a free event and all members of the public are welcome.
