Family Days at Draíocht

Draíocht runs free Family Days on a monthly basis.  Today (Sat 1st Feb 12-3pm ), it is on the theme of "Colourful Creatures".  Families can explore and create  using chalk pastel techniques and sugar paper. Draíocht’s artists will show you how to use, blend and draw with chalk pastel techniques and sugar papers to create colourful imagined and real creatures.  

Family Day Notes: No booking necessary/ Dress for Mess/ Unless otherwise stated workshops are designed for children from 5-10 years, though younger and older siblings are welcome to take part/ Please be aware that Draíocht’s Family days are not designed for groups/ All children must be accompanied by an adult… and all adults must be accompanied by a child




On Saturday 8th March the Family Day will be called "Simple Paper Maker".  During this family day you will be shown how to make origami designs - go away with a paper boat that floats or a plane that flies … maybe even a frog that jumps!
